Equipping Students for the Future

Bringing Hands-On STEAM Learning to Every Middle School Student

Important Update!

We’re grateful to share that we have received a grant that has allowed us to go beyond our original campaign goal.

We thank God for each person who has been part of this project, and especially the Tuscano Ledgard Family Fund and Luke Kephart for helping make this initiative possible at our school.

If you would still like to give, you are welcome to support this project or visit our Extra Blessings List at the link below, where you can be part of other needs and opportunities within our ministry.

Extra Blessing List.

Help us complete a $5,000 project to bring hands-on STEAM learning to all 135 Middle School students at Agua Viva.

A generous gift of $2,500 has already been given to launch this initiative.

Now we invite our community to help double that gift and reach the $5,000 goal, making it possible to expand this learning opportunity to every middle school student.

Note: This is a special fundraising project. We kindly ask that you do not redirect your regular giving to this campaign.

Expanding STEAM Learning in Middle School

Over the past few years, a small group of students has participated in our robotics team. Their enthusiasm showed us how powerful experiential learning can be.

Now we hope to expand that opportunity to all 135 middle school students.

Through STEAM learning, students will design, build, and work together to solve challenges while developing creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills that will serve them well both in their studies today and in the opportunities ahead.

What Is Needed

To implement the program in our middle school, we need the following resources:

LEGO Education Computer Science & AI Classroom Bundle (Grades 6–8)
Estimated cost: $3,200

This bundle supports up to 24 students at a time and includes six hands-on learning kits, access to the teacher portal with lessons available in Spanish, and the Coding Canvas programming environment.

Tablets for Classroom Use
Estimated cost: $1,800

Six tablets are needed so students can program their projects, test ideas, and collaborate during lessons.

Join Us in Equipping Students for the Future

We are grateful for the generosity of Luke Kephart, whose initiative and support helped launch this project and inspired the vision of bringing this opportunity to our students.

Now we invite our community to help complete it.

Your support will help bring hands-on STEAM learning to all 135 middle school students at Agua Viva.

Thank you for considering being part of this initiative and for the many ways you support the mission of Agua Viva.

Note: This is a special project outside of our regular giving. We kindly ask that regular donations not be redirected, as those gifts remain essential for supporting teachers and the daily work of the school.
